Where is your office located?
You’ll find HayCreek Healing at the following address:
621 Franklin Street
West Reading, PA 19611
Is parking free?
What are your hours?
Do you offer telehealth sessions?
How long are sessions?
Do you take insurance?
Wonderful news: I now accept Capital Blue Cross insurance!
If you have insurance through another provider, we can still work together! I can provide you with a “Superbill” to submit for possible reimbursement with your insurance company.
What types of payment do you accept?
How do I make an appointment?
Can I cancel an appointment?
Yes. I provide a one-time free cancellation because life happens, and I get that.
After that, I charge the full session fee if not canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
What happens during the free initial consultation?
We will chat about what brought you to seek help and how you envision life as it improves.
Throughout this conversation, we will get a feel for whether we’re a good fit for each other.
From there, we will schedule our first session.
Are you a licensed therapist?
Do you prescribe medicine?
I do not. That would be your primary physician or a psychiatrist.
However, I might work with them and offer feedback about your medication.
With whom do you work?
I work with men, women, and adolescents.
I will be happy to see you individually, as a couple, or as a family to focus on parenting and communication struggles.
What is therapy like with you?
I am very laid back and personable, and I make every effort to make you feel comfortable.
And as we work together, you’ll learn I’m human, too!
What does a typical session look like?
That depends on what we’re talking about and how we’re processing your experience.
It helps if you tell me what you feel is working or things you might not like about our sessions.
I will provide tools and strategies to help you process, cope, and overcome your challenges. We will practice some of them in session, and I will encourage you to work on them in between sessions, too.
What if I cry?
That’s okay! All feelings are welcome and normal.
I encourage you to do it as it comes, but it’s not necessary to make progress in therapy.
